What We Hear From Manufacturers
Labour is our biggest cost, and we can’t find staff
Simple tasks tie up too many workers. Shortages and turnover make output and quality inconsistent.
Standard machines don’t fit our process or space
Space is tight, and fitting a standard machine isn't possible. Our process doesn’t suit standard equipment.
We turn work away because we’re at capacity
Production is at capacity, so we turn down big contracts and lose the earnings and customer relationships that follow.
Our machines need constant babysitting
Our machines are unreliable, so someone who knows the equipment has to be on site to keep them running.
Our imported machines are non-compliant
Our machines don’t meet Australian safety standards. Workers are exposed to danger. Incidents put the business at risk.
When our machine breaks, no one local can fix it
Without local support, our team loses time diagnosing faults, breakdowns drag on, and operations struggle with orders.

Silver Bar Processing Plant
Challenge
A major precious metals producer sought to improve the efficiency and safety of one of its high-volume manufacturing processes involving large-format silver bars. The existing workflow was heavily manual, requiring significant operator involvement for material handling, data entry, and quality checks. This approach introduced operational inefficiencies and increased the risk of human error.
Solution
To address these challenges, a custom automated system was developed in close collaboration with the client. The solution integrated mechanical handling, automated processing, and digital data capture into a single streamlined workflow. Key features included automated weighing, marking, and data logging, all designed to reduce manual handling and improve process reliability.
The system allowed operator time to be freed up and has enhanced workplace safety. All relevant production data was automatically captured and integrated into the client’s existing systems, minimising the risk of data entry errors and improving traceability.
Outcome
The implementation of this bespoke automation solution significantly improved operational efficiency, reduced manual labour, and enhanced data integrity. The client now benefits from a safer, faster, and more consistent production process.
